Starter last year but told to switch positions and he wasn't guaranteed a starting spot?

Is this a big loss on the OL for ND? Even if he's not great he's likely better than FSU's unproven options, if he transfers to FSU. Supposedly visiting this weekend.

He is pretty good but was going to be passed up by younger guys. ND has about 15 pretty good offensive linemen right now.

I doubt very much that basically your entire roster of OL pan out. Regardless, just seems odd a veteran starter would leave a good program for their final season. By all accounts he's better than average, and our young centers last year proved they were (less than) average. So I'll be happy if he chooses FSU even if ND shrugs off his loss.
