Yes, our president sounds like he is putting this on the back burner. His announcement was very un purposeful. He for sure thinks that P5 dreams are dead.

Because you're not making sense, amigo - the IPF and practice facilities have been known about for months, money being raised for months, etc. An "announcement" about those facilities isn't fast-tracking anymore than a Tweet or a permit or anything else is fast-tracking. These things have been in the planning stages a long time. Fast-tracking b/c of a looming P5 invite means they would've already been built.

The reason Rudd is doing this is because he is trying to help the perception of our school. He could have announced this months ago but doing it now puts it in front of everyone's mind (including sports writers) so that fans of big 12 schools can be optimistic about adding us instead of being pissed off.
