Sorry, 4th post in a row, but TA and Calathes were both enormous knuckleheads tonight. I'm ready to move on and surround our core players with guys that can SHOOT. Even bad teams have guys who can freaking shoot if you leave them open. This **** is ridiculous.

Hey, there was a lot of player movement at the deadline. Lots of shooters available for little cost. What the heck were we doing?

Outscored 66-41 in the second half by a team that shoots 20 something % from three and just 39% from the field for the year. Pitiful and disgusting.

Totally agree. It seems like many of our players, the ones before Green got here, just have their heads 'you know where'. Like Spank said, this is our worst loss of the season. It feels awful as a fan. I hope the players feel it on the plane ride home. I joked a few threads ago that we should only play teams with winning records. Well, hooray that 5 of our next 6 are against winners with the one losing team we play is a visit to MSG to play the Knicks, currently the worst team in the league. That game scares me to death.

Are you being sarcastic or.....?

A little of both... The chemistry on this team just hasn't been there since the trade.

To me that is Green being a bit of an issue

We actually started 17-3 after the trade, and he clearly gives us more production than the Prince/Pondexter duo (shudder). I just don't buy it. He hasn't been perfect but he's been an asset for us. This slump we're in started after the All-Star break for some reason.

The thing with Prince is he fit what we wanted him to do perfectly. He didn't and we didn't need him to score. He defended, rebounded, and threw the ball in the post.

Actually this slump started before the break. It started with the Minnesota game. Remember we didn't play well against the Hawks it just helped they had a bad game. Didn't play well against Brooklyn and the okc game was a disaster.

I know what the record was but how much of that was the team was already in such a groove that inserting Green didn't really mean much at first.

This team isn't moving the same and hasn't for over two months.

This is looking a lot like the Rudy teams

We actually did need Prince to score, or at the very least be a credible scoring threat. He couldn't do that. That's why he was traded.

This team isn't going anywhere if they can't figure out how to effectively use an athletic scoring wing.

Actually no we didn't need him to score. And he was traded because we needed more athleticism on the wings. He was also traded because we aren't getting Green without letting him go.

Getting rid of his contract didn't hurt.

The results are less than stellar since the All-Star break, but I am sure the coaches and players are vigorously addressing the issues.

They better be. They have no more room for losing games like this if they want to hang on to the #2 seed in the West.

So Green played well and we had another terrible lost yet it's still Green's fault?
