The Toad Strikes Again :)
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) Junior college transfer Davon Durant has been suspended from the Arizona State football team.

Sun Devils coach Todd Graham announced at the start of spring practice Monday that Durant was suspended for violation of team rules but didn't get into specifics.

However, a Tempe police report shows the linebacker was arrested March 7 on allegations of domestic violence and aggravated assault.

Police say Durant's girlfriend accused him of hitting her in the face and grabbing her around the neck.

Durant is scheduled for a preliminary court hearing Wednesday.

He enrolled early to participate in the Sun Devils' spring practice, but wasn't listed on the roster handed out by the school Monday.

Durant chose Arizona State over Oregon, Ole Miss and South Carolina and was expected to compete for a starting position

Based on the title, I was expecting that he left ASU for his "dream job" elsewhere.

Wait; this is a good thing that Coach Graham did-correct? Since killing the kid was not an option, suspending him from football was the best thing Graham could do.

I agree. Toad has done some things that only he can do.

But recruiting a JUCO with a penchant for beating up girls? Get in line!
