We stand to lose quite a bit after next year, so whoare the "program changing" prospects looking to be Tigers for the 2016 class?

Can we get a break down of top tier players with coaching daddies and open assistant spots on our bench for 2017?

Exactly. CJP doing everything he can to nuke the program on his way out.

Not sure he's try to the nuke the program on his way out but typically when a coach is fired its not because they have the program at elite status. maybe you need to take a break from the board

RE: Who do we have lined up, recruiting wise, after the Lawson class?
im sure he's got the pipeline full, but I just haven't heard any names or commitments.
We lose
Shaq
Burrel
Kedren
Hawkins

Likely lose...
Nichols
Dedric Lawson

Possible transfer...
Nick King
Pookie Powell

If 2016 isn't a significant class, then we could really be in for some lean years.

Nick Marshall is an atheltic big who has a composite #56 national ranking. He is already committed for the 16 class
Abdul Ado is the composite #16 player in the 16 class. Another athletic big. Has Louisville, Memphis, and TN in his top 3.
Jaylen Fisher is the composite #42 player in the 16 class. Most think he ends up at Memphis. He is a PG.

Landing Fisher and Marshall gives up a top 15 class. Then again, I just read were Fisher may be cooling off on Memphis

Got to fill out three more scholarships to fill for this class. They have 2016 prospects especially a New Orlean PG. They are in on others but really will not know priorities till AAU showcases

Y'all are really calling this the LAWSON class?

You should listen to COACH PASTNER more.
This program is bigger than one person or one name.

WE. ARE. MEMPHIS.

maybe you should check the recruiting forum? Sounds like a place where one could find this information.

It's good to see Tiger fans are so welcoming to each other and don't resort to snide comments at every chance. Kudos.

Well, at least the staff has a head start.

Maybe they are spending the week at the NJCAA tournament?

Columbia State, which beat Southwest in the region final at Verties Sails Gymnasium, won their first round game yesterday.

Vincennes, which is 33-1, is likely headed for the 3rd straight Final Four under Todd Franklin, who was at one time an assistant at Austin Peay.

i hope he start recruiting Jordan Varnado from Haywood he was the best player in the state tournament and being recruiting by only murray st, troy and ten tech. He way better than Jarvis Varnado as he was coming out of high school and can block a ball.

If it's declining (and I think it is), it's not intentional. That perception seems more a product of the malice of the myopic fan, not the coach. I think we've actually seen some of the most discrete progress of individual players during a season that Pastner has ever done. It's progress that still is not consistent enough, nor overall enough, to warrant his salary, imo. And it doesn't redeem the deterioration of recruits' NBA value that has occurred recently for highly-promoted recruiting classes.

I thought there were signs of improving product during the year, but on the heels of underperforming in previous years and underpreparing players for their desired majors (i.e. NBA), the tipping point may have occurred.

I hope for everyone's sake that we get to the 16 next year.
