Quite an emotional moment for all of us. Glad y'all enjoyed the read/video!

Speaking of the Band: I got an even greater appreciation as we sat next to the Band in the corner by our team bench. Behind our bench were the families of the North Carolina players who had stayed for a while after their game. During our warm-ups the Band and our fans knocked out yet another great "Start Wearing Purple" and the mouths of the NC families and fans were wide open with "Wows", their eyes were fixed on THE BAND, and their bodies were moving to the beat.

Since we were the only JMU fans in that corner, we got lots of accolades for our Band and fans from the North Carolina folks. We heard a lot of: " You guys travel well". and "That is the Best Band "

I corrected them saying: It's the Best "DAMN" Band!
