Well...at least your fans will get to watch your season end at home on Sunday. Getting beat on the road in the WNIT can suck...we speak from experience.

You might get even more experience sunday. Im sure middle will have a big crowd.

Tonights attendance Middle had 2500, USM 1400 and odu 933
Our 2nd round app tcu had 922
Sell tickets, stay on your home floor.

We've played Middle for umpteen thousand years it seems...we're very aware of what they'll draw. We got about 2K Wednesday Night ourselves for our game.

If anything, it's poor planning by the WNIT to bracket two of their highest drawing teams to play in the 2nd round. Either way, they lose a big draw by early evening Sunday.

Positively brilliant on the WNIT's part. AState draws 1800+ and stuff the bracket to insure one way or another a money producer is out in the second round.

Ticket sales are going even stronger for Round 2. I think the history with A-State will bring even more folks out to the game. Hopefully we can get around 4,000 for this one.

Our ad is pre selling tickets for round 3. A smart move to try and stay on the home floor.

Some of those are our sales. We've got a group heading to the game. Middle is way too close a drive for many to not.

Heck, if the game was 2 hours later, I'd probably go.

Ya, 0-12 now. A-State had between 30-40 fans at the Murph. Crowd today was just under 3,000. Hopefully we'll be hosting the winner of Ga Tech and Ole Miss - if it's Ole Miss that will be a huge draw especially given the fact that OM head coach Matt Insell is CRI's son.

Im watching that one on espn3 and you wont have any problems. Those are two bad teams for this time of the year.

Hope so! We beat Ole Miss earlier this year, and that was when we were extremely shaky. That was Parker's first game of the year. We are clicking finally, so I have faith we'll get a win over Ole Miss.

Big storyline will hopefully draw the fans out to the Murphy Center - Insell versus Insell in Murfreesboro. AD Chris Massaro challenged fans to 10k in the stands. Hoping for more than that!

I knew going in that we never win at Middle. So why not talk crap and see what happens. Besides, I miss playing the Raiders.

The reality is that we got screwed by the WNIT again. If this was the Men's NIT, we are a higher seed and host that round, and it's a different animal. We were the top team left out of the NCAA, and would have been a 1 seed.

Unfortunately, the WNIT becomes a contest to see which Athletic department can spend the most money on their women's program. And MTSU will always have us beat in that department. Gives them the ability to buy 6 home games that we don't have, and that is a very difficult place to win.
