Join the UAB National Alumni Society for a Watch Party THIS THURSDAY at the UAB Alumni House. The doors will open at 11:15am with tip-off between the Blazers and Cyclones at 11:40am.

The NAS is providing FREE Dreamland Bar-B-Que for the first 250 alumni, students, employees, and fans.

As much as I want to go to Louisville, I've simply spent too many work days on #FreeUAB actions this year. I have to make some money.

Are there any pro-UAB venues, like Iron City, hosting watch parties?

Yes, Iron City Grill will be showing the game, with delicious food and craft beer specials. And Fire Ray Watts chants shall be encouraged early and often.

For some reason watching the game at the Iron City Grill seems a lot more appetizing than watching the game with Wes Smith.

If I don't end up in Louisville I'll be in iron city.

Iron City is the True Alumni House. The NAS House has a creepy feeling to it.

Coach Clark's C.O.Y. ceremony & the Team's NCAA Announcement party were both there.

Watts knows Iron City is off limits to him, unlike the welcoming at NAS.

I'm going to the NAS Lunch and Watch. I may take my sign to see if they'll kick me out! I wonder if they will mind if I yell "FREEUAB" and "FIRE RAY WATTS" from time to time. Any other NAS members, please join me. We could have some fun - then go to Iron City at half time if necessary.

I'm considering watching the first half at the NAS and getting free lunch in exchange for renewing my NAS membership before the NoCon vote, then heading to Iron City. They have Tullamore Dew on sale for $5 through March, and it will still be within shouting distance of St. Patrick's Day.

I thought about doing that, but this is supposed to be fun. I don't want to ruin that fun with the off-chance of running into Wes Smith or, Allah forbid, Ray Watts. I don't think either one will actually show up, but I want to be sure to be among actual Blazers.

I would go to Iron City first if I had a choice.
I will instead stay at home & watch it from my recliner.

The last thing the Wes & Watts needs is a packed NAS house watching the game. They would use if to further their propaganda.

Not to burst any bubbles here, but Watts supposedly will be in Louisville at the game.
