UCONN broke out the heavy artillery. Leading William & Mary 12-1 entering the Bottom of the 9th. If this lead holds they'll be 11-7 on the season.

UCONN wins at William & Mary 12-1.

The Huskies are now 11-7 on the season. Not too shabby for a Northern team who has yet to play a game in their home state.

Ecu swept Princeton! They may be smarter than us but we can play baseball better!

RE: American Baseball 3/16-22
Cincinnati relief pitching blew a late 7-1 lead at Nevada, giving up 5 runs each in the 8th and bottom of the 9th to lose 11-10 on a walk off double.

UC lead 7-1 in the 8th, then scored 3 in the 9th to take a 10-6 lead going to the bottom of the 9th.

UC is young and making progress but needs learn how to win.

NICE!!

What a great win for the conference!

On paper, definitely.

We played well last night (probably our most complete performance of the year), but Rice didn't look like their usual selves to me. Not much pop in their lineup other than John Clay Reeves. A little bit of speed, and their bullpen got tore up. I think they went through 4 pitchers in the 4th inning alone.

As a team, they have a superior batting average and slugging percentage than UH does right now. Five of their guys are hitting .320 or higher; UH has two. And they've played a tougher schedule. Rice is their usual selves - a VERY talented team. We can be proud UH fans and celebrate success; that was a great win for UH and the AAC.

No one has ever accused UH of being a good hitting team, so that comparison doesn't say much of anything about Rice to me.

Coogs lead New Mexico 5-3, bottom 7.

This will be a scrappy series. UNM looks the part, and I think they have an RPI in the 40's. I'd take 2 of 3 right now if you gave it to me.

Coogs take game 1 in Albuquerque, 6-5. 7 game winning streak.

We were up 6-3, but gave up 3 walks in the 9th to make in interesting/annoying.

When people use the term "walk-off" in a sport other than baseball, it has officially jumped the shark.
