I think someone that makes millions of Climate Change crap and wants it to be dictated as ABSOLUTE fact is the one that should be in jail.

I don't think being put in jail is what Gore means by being "punished." Although, on the other hand, maybe it is. The ambiguity of such statements is a classic example of how the Overlords try to keep the rabble in line.

Ezra Klein is giving voice to the inner-id of a lot of liberals. For all their blather about "imperial presidency" and "checks and balances", what the Kleins of the world really want is for the proverbial Strong Man to step forward and take charge, regardless of what Congress or the voters have to say about it.

I think people should be allowed to put their money where their mouth is, so the prospect of Steyer/Gore/etc. bankrolling a campaign is not disturbing to me. But let's remember Klein's comment the next time you hear liberals whine about "the rich" trying to "buy" an election. As long as it's rich liberals who are doing the buying, they aren't bothered by it at all.
