RE: Rigged game
I didn't get to see the selection show yesterday and was wondering, as always every season, who was going to get screwed over by the committee. There seems to be a consensus that Colorado State got the short end of the stick, while the SEC got more than they deserve - again....

RE: Rigged game
Kind of strange knowing that Syracuse (whom I despise anyway) is not going to be in this tournament, what is Vitale and the guy from CBS (Rafferty?) going to do with themselves?

The only team I thought got screwed was Temple and Dayton was also clearly in IMO (not a play-in team). Some of the seeding was certainly screwy. Texas, LSU, and UCLA, if in, should all be in Dayton. Northern Iowa as a 5 and Wichita State as a 7 is a joke, but this definitely wasn't the worst job a committee has done. Bottom line is there were about 20 teams vying for the last 12 spots and none of them really did anything to earn their way in.
When you have a team like UCLA who had 1 top 50 win and 1 top 75 win. But had 13 built in top 60 games because of conference and lose 11 of them. But still get in, then that's wrong.
I don't believe Indiana at 10 or Texas at 11 should be in either. Neither passed the eye test for me.
Murray State, Temple, Colorado State, Tulsa and Iona played much better. UCLA, Indiana and Texas got in because of the conferences they belong to, the money they receive, built in top 60 games and some of the history they bring, nothing else. It wasn't on the merit of their play this year.
If that's not rigged, then explain to me what is rigged then.

Its totally rigged. We knew football was unfair, but now they have completely taken basketball away from us too.

RE: Rigged game
How the hell can teams with losing conference records get in like Oklahoma St. and Texas....Both get in and Oklahoma St. gets a 9th seed? With a horrible record...At least have a winning record in your freaking conference!
At least Seth Davis threw us a bone when he was talking about everything being stacked up for the Murray's of the world...We have almost zero opportunities for big time wins unless its a true road game...Meanwhile P5 teams have 20 chances to get a good win and most are at home... apparently if you are UCLA, you only need one good win which they got at home..Besides that, UCLA has done nothing...Its nothing new though, been this way for awhile, just gets increasingly tougher for schools like us to get it done every year....
