The AAC was garbage this year.... 2 teams in is about right, maybe three but hard to argue for it.

Tulsa had every opportunity to make it. Teams like Tulsa and Texas AM have no reason to complain. They did it to themselves.

Now UCLA over Colorado State, Temple or Richmond??? Complete BS

I don't think anyone would disagree that the American was pretty bad this year. It just seems like teams from the P5 like UCLA, Texas, Ole Miss, etc. get the benefit of the doubt. I think Temple deserved to get in over every one of those teams.

Also, the SEC with 5 teams? That is laughable.

HOW IN HELL did Tulsa so it to themselves. Had one bad loss to their cross town rivals on ORU court. Finished second overall in conference with a chance of being regular season champion. Played several ranked teams out of conference for a strong out of conference teams. Had an RPI of 41. Other than not winning the conference tournament what did they do to themselves. Their resume is better than any of the last four in.

Tulsa also lost 3 out of their last 4. Dont expect them to win at SMU, but they had two opportunities to seal a bid with Cincy at home and UConn in the tourney. They lost both
