I wouldn't be surprised to see Bama ask about Josh.

Massive difference in competition so yeah, apples and oranges. Wonder what his record is against top 25 competition?

I respect his results, but I really don't want to see that style for my entertainment at Memphis.

The Grizzlies have become popular with that Grit and Grind style.

Popular with the youth of this city who go to the games to watch a tough nosed winning team unlike what we have now. Personally, I don't think Howland would be able to get Memphis kids to play his style.

Like the Redheaded Hayseed? The 3 Amigo reunion would be complete. Donovan loves a discount on paying assistants.

Grit Grind can work for NBA but tiger fans are use to run n gun for nearly 50 years. Slow down basketball in college is horrendous. People were upset with Tic Price style of play before he got into trouble

Contrary to popular belief that Howland plays a slow down game his last Final Four team actually averaged 74 a game which is about what Pastner coached teams have averaged.

Take a look at Finch's last 6 seasons before he got fired. Which included an Elite 8, a sweet 16 and 4 NCAA tourney appearances. If Finch who was the greatest Tiger ever can be fired after that. Pastner can certainly be fired after accomplishing even less.

Which was an aberration. As much as you try that style and Howland doesn't fit unless he told the Memphis he was going to change his ways
