Just saw that ESPNU will be hosting the NIT selection at 7:30 for anyone interested. I know we are on the bubble (according to KenPom.com we are team 33 out of the 32) so who knows.

Kinda shows how far we've fallen when we are on the NIT bubble and I can't really decide if I hope we get in or if we can just put an end to this miserable season

UConn, the defending National Champion is also on the NIT bubble. Poor seasons happen to everybody. We were 3 or 4 lousy games away from returning to the NCAA's. Ifs and butts...

I hope we get in. I always root for more basketball, not those CBI or whatever tourneys, but the NIT is ok.

I don't think UConn is anywhere near the NIT bubble. I think they will be a 2 seed, or a 3 or 4, at worst

UCONN will be a 2-4 seed in the NIT. They are having a poor season because the won the National Championship and lost a few players they werent planning on loosing due to their success

It's always a good thing to keep playing. Just the tournament experience for these guys coming back next year would be a great help. Adding W's to the team is a plus. I can't see any Tiger fan not wanting them to keep the season going. It can't do anything but help for next year.

How in hell is Tulsa not a #1 seed. They were screwed by not making the NCAA tournament. Since this is owned by the NCAA now do they use the same committee?
