Fly to CF ends T6 after considerable damage. Now 7-2.

RE: Rice vs. LaTech (Sunday Game 3)
Austin gives up two runs on 3 hits. I'm presuming that's it for him. He simply was not overly sharp, despite the shutout through four innings. Besides, I suspect The OG wants to give Williamson and Pettitte some work.

Wonder if we're hold Solecitto to start against the left-handed laden Coog lineup on Tuesday.

Offense needs to snap out of it's malaise. We've been going through the motions the last four innings. Let's not let LaTech back into this one. BTW, LaTech just did massive replacement, putting in three of their subs in the field.
Taylor first pitch fly out to CF.
Kopycinski line shot, but right at 2B.
Chandler flied out to CF.
We've got only 6 hits against LaTech's 2nd tier pitching.

Good guys lead 7 - 2 heading to the top of the seventh inning.

Another walk. First time this year JWillie has struggled to throw strikes....and he's not even close. About to walk his third this inning as The OG strolls to the mound.

I haven't seen him pitch yet this year in person or on TV, so can anyone tell me if Otto enters from the pen to "The Ride of the Valkyries" blasting over the PA? And does he pitch with a monocle and jodhpurs?

On "Pups at the Park" day, Great Dayne Wunderlich pinch-hits for Warren and gets taken for a walk. Bases full of Owls. One out. Lewis up.

RE: Rice vs. LaTech (Sunday Game 3)
JWillie can thank his defense for getting out of that inning unscathed. Offense needs to stop sleep walking and get refocused on this game.

Stainback leads off with an E-4. Let's capitalize this time.
Byrd bloop single to CF. Runners on 1B and 2B, no outs.
Reeves has got to get the ball of the ground for the firs time this series...laser shot double off the wall. 02-13-banana Runners on 2B and 3B, no outs. Hit so hard they had to hold Byrd at 3B. Need to get at least one more in.
Teykl grounded out to 2B. Connor has really struggled this weekend.
Runners still on 2B and 3B, one out.
LaTech going to LHP Jared Keating, who has pitched but one inning all year long, and gave up 2 hits. Need to get the ball in the air here...
Wonderlich pinch hit for Warren-- don't get this move given the inexperienced pitcher...walked to load the bases with one out.
Lewis pinch hitting for Gray-- now this move I agree with...only to have LaTech go righty-lefty and bring in RHP Adam Derouen, who also has but on appearance this year for one inning (2 BBs, 3 Ks). Hard thrower, but a bit wild...
Lewis RBI force out. 02-13-banana Runners on 1B and 2B, two outs.
Taylor strikes out.

Good guys lead 9 - 2 heading to the top of the eighth inning.
