Geoff Calkins has said in the past that Josh needs experience on the bench.
Bartow was fired by ETSU a few days ago...I think it would be a win/win situation.
He's a Bartow...so he is like family in a way...and Josh could use his experience on the bench.
Your thoughts?

Murry is definitely not a yes man. I think the only guy he could be an assistant for was his father.

Agreed on both points. Quality individual.

Problem is that egos clash when someone who is a better coach than the head coach has to work under as an assistant. So maybe its best to find an assistant that can look up to Josh for his abilities as a head coach.

Josh doesn't want anyone on his staff to be seen or perceived as the "smarter one".

I think it makes a lot of sense - Bartow as the head assistant.

It would be a really good move imo.

He's an ideal and badly needed addition who is just as clean and strait as Josh, and would strengthen Josh's weaknesses a lot and vise versa. These two would make a good team.

Just seems like a perfect fit imo, assuming Murray is taking an assistant job for little while.

I bet he gets some HC or AD offers, if only unofficially, but they will be small programs.

The miserables are out in full force.
Last year some of them were starting to rant about Fuente not getting the job done. Had to eat crow this year.
These miserables will have to eat crow next year when Memphis makes the tourney again.
