Thanks Josh!!!

Memphis could have stayed in CUSA and we would be in the NCAA every year. But then then same people who whine and cry on this board daily would be complaining about being in that conference.

I doubt we could win CUSA now. We finished 5th in CUSA 2.0 this season.

will Alabama fire their coach after seeing UAB making the NCAA Tournament and they are left sitting at home?

Funny you mention this, Bama's beat writer Cecil Hurt tweeted last night after UAB and Auburn wins that the AD is being pressured to seriously reevaluate Bama coaching situation.

Alabama has fired coach Anthony Grant, the school announced Sunday.

Grant, 48, was with the Crimson Tide for six seasons, winning at least 20 games three times and making an NCAA tournament appearance in 2012. He also led Alabama to three NIT appearances, including this year's event, where they will play Illinois on Tuesday. No interim coach has been named.

The Crimson Tide also reached the NIT championship game in 2011.

I know the feeling, first time in a long time that I didn't watch selection day.

We were in CUSA 4 seasons under this coaching staff. Of the 4 seasons, we won the regular season title twice. In the 2nd season, we had to win the CUSA tournament to even get into the NCAA tournament. The previous success rate with a superior team would indicate that we probably would have failed to make the tournament even in CUSA this year as well.
