Question Rice vs LaTech -- Saturday gane
The weather is absolutely brilliant. Chamber of Commerce conditions. Get out here for the game.

Interesting approach to have two center fielders.

La Tech jumped out to a 2-0 lead after 2 hits off Fox in the first.

That's funny. I was thinking the same thing this morning when reading about Pi Day. It would be so awesome if Rice honored dork holidays like that, starting the game at 3:14, serving special pecan pi, having Neil deGrasse Tyson throw out the first pitch, hiring a Pythagorus impersonator to sing the National Anthem, etc, etc.

Can you imagine how disheartening it would be from the perspective of a visiting team like LaTech, to watch a big nerdfest celebration before the game, then get smoked by those same nerds in the game? Hahahaha. Love it. #thegeekshallinherittheearth

I'm getting horrible streaming audio quality. Sounds like neither microphone is working. Announcers sound like they're at the far end of a long pipe.

Rice with 4 hits so far in B1, plus a LaTech error. Still batting with 2 on, 2 out. Gray up. 2-2 tie game. 02-13-banana02-13-banana

MUSING: At this rate, LT's pitcher Phil Maton won't last too long. I'm fine with that, but I sure would've loved to see an Otto-Maton match-up. I mean, while we're celebrating nerds and all today. #pi #ultron #icanseebobbyjindalswires

Coming from the premier research university in northwest Louisiana, the Bulldogs may well love it, too, wouldn't you think. :-)

Gray grounds out, and despite 4 hits and an error, Rice yields only 2 runs. 2-all going to the 2nd. Let's see if Blake can settle down now that he's back to square.

EDIT: On cue, Blake sets 'em down 1-2-3. Way to go! #thatswhatthefoxsays

Once again outwits the opposition by spotting them two meaningless runs.

Oh, is the game in Colorado or Washington today?

I can hear the announcers' between-innings conversations just as well (i.e., poorly), so it sounds like the crowd mic is the only one that's connected, and it's live all the time. There's no audio coming from either of the announcers' microphones and no between-inning commercials.

Maybe some Parliamentarian at Reckling could pass along these symptoms, in the hope that they can fix it.

I suspect it's just a matter of flipping the correct switches.

Sounds like help is on the way: "You guys are muting yourselves."

But what's coming across the stream still sounds the same. (Dismal.)
