You should be really concerned after today. If they play like that in the tournament, they are one and done.

Thanks so much for your support of the women.

Maybe you should not judge support by one post. Every post I made about the ladies this season has been positive. The ladies played poorly the last two games. If we play like that in the NCAAs, we likely lose. I bet the players would agree. You can't win tournament games shooting 30% from the floor. Sorry if stating the obvious is ruffling your feathers.

I find it ironic that last week you began your campaign against negativity on these boards and yet you contribute to it fresh off the Lady Dukes victory. Let them have the win, the title and let's see what happens in the NCAA's. Heck, they don't even know who they are playing yet. 05-nono

If I was beating a dead horse and every post was negative, then I would agree with calling me a hippocritical. I was not being negative. Anyone who watched that game knows the girls played one of their worse games of the year. My post is out of concern not condemnation. I do give them major props for being able to pull out a victory.

JMU, making the occasional post about poor play or a bad game is a poor analogy. You are just looking for a reason to come back at me. You know darn well you are comparing apples to oranges. I am one of the more positive posters on here.

I don't think JMUNation meant any malice but rather concern. JMU women have a fantastic team one that if given the right scenario can go far in the tourney. With that stated they did play poorly offensively, defensively they played well. JMU has always played poorly though at showplace.

It was a memorable regular season and two championships in a row.

I fear we rely on Hall too much for scoring. We need to have more scoring from others to have a successful tourney. Giggets and Gwathmey can do it. Lady too. Hall is taking on too much responsibility for being the go to scorer.

What I am saying is that your timing in making your comment was poor and it was negative. I don't think you can argue about that. Let's enjoy the victory for a day before we state that they may be one and done. There will be plenty of time to critique the next game in the ensuing days.

You are reaching JMU. My comment was an honest assessment of our play the last two days. I have seen 9 or 10 games this year including UCLA and Vandy games. I have been very positive all year long. Today was the first criticism I have offered and for good reason. The ladies have struggled to shoot well later in the season. I am looking ahead to the NCAAs and my comment was spot on.

If you knew me, you would know I can also admit when I am wrong. You seem to have a problem doing so yourself as you continue to pursue your poor argument. Let's just move on for the sake of others.

Nation, those who aren't driven by raw emotion get you. Your reputation as a poster is solid. And unfortunately, your assessment is correct. But I trust that KB will get them straight.

Nation, I think your timing was poor. It is that simple. So get over yourself.
