Wimp said it in a typical butthead way but he is right. We used to sell it out 4 or 5 times a year. UAB is bigger with more full time on campus students

Right now we have a demoralize fan base instead if one basking over football glory. It has hurt basketball arête dance without a doubt. Now it's not the only reason.

Here's a thought. May the UAB administration which is co-sponsoring the tournament should give a **** about UAB & actually do stuff that encourages fans to support the school & program.

They declared war on us. Ray Watts wants UAB to lose, and fans to stay away. I have zero doubt on this score.

I agree. It would be great to have 12,000 there but it certainly will not happen in a season when you couldn't get 6,000 to any game.

I would consider 8,000 + a good crowd but also believe that we shouldn't put expectations up there that are unrealistic.

You have Ealy trying to get supporters out there & at the same time Watts & company shooting missiles at his effort.

This. The fans that are showing up are as energized as I've seen UAB fans in the past 5 years. The atmosphere is terrific. I'm enjoying every minute.
