I really really really hope I am wrong, but the Big 12 thing sounds like a pipe dream.

And IF we do get in, is it the same Big 12? Will it still be a Power 5 or does it turn out like the Big East

Yes to both the OU and UL series. I think the Sooners start here and of course the TIGERS travel to the Yum Center for that series opener.

I understand the Mississippi series starts next season. The revisions to their BB facility should be completed around November. I know the Black Bears really want MEMPHIS to be the first game in the updated Tad Pad. So, this game might be the overall opener around Nov. 16 OR be an early December game.

Don't forget, MEMPHIS also signed a TV deal to play a neutral court game in Miami against Ohio State. USF plays Kentucky in the second game of the doubleheader sometime Thanksgiving weekend. The site will be the Miami Arena where the Heat play.
