Read a little further into no BPI tourney ect
There is no way that these crappy tournaments worse that the NIT snubbed us on purpose.

Somebody with decision making power wants the season done.

What does that tell us?

No way JP would turn down a chance to play more games.

1. Don't devalue the brand
2. Don't pay to play

Makes sense to me. I can get behind the NIT, but once that didn't happen, I'm supportive of it being a wrap.

we told the other tourneys below the NIT " not interested"

you have to pay them to get in and there is no point in playing in them, much less paying to play.

Most of the P5 schools who were not included in NCAA and NIT announced they will not accept a CBI or CIT invite.

Yeah - all the cool kids just say NO! to inferior tournaments! Well, all of them except for Colorado... but they toke legally, so go figure. All that ganja tax revenue has to be spent somewhere!
