Yeah and it's sad to see the program be reduced to this. We are too cheap to even send our band and cheerleaders. I bet they would be there if it was a football game. This we are a football school now is ridiculous. Somebody needs to stand up for the basketball program or it's gonna be UAB like soon.

So because Bowen is happy that settles it? He doesn't give a rip about the program and pastner is too much of a mr. Nice guy to stand up to him. I bet they wouldn't fly charter if Cal was there.

Well you've been wrong about everything else. Pearl brought Pearl's character into question, not me. Pearl lied during an NCAA investigation, not me. As far as I'm concerned, his past actions should disqualify him in spite of his coaching ability.

He would have no effect on getting us getting into the Big 12. Memphis basketball needs a shot of adrenaline.

He would not help us get in, but could keep us out. He would bring a spark but long term would be a big negative. We need to remain a clean program. That's not Pearl.

Other than turning a minor infraction into a major one by foolishly lying about it what other trouble has Pearl been in with the NCAA? I've looked but can find anything else.

I guess I think lying is a MAJOR infraction. If he would lie about a minor infraction, what else do you suppose he would/has lied about? You can never trust a lier.

Does he lie about tendinitis and concussions ?
