Yea, they let some whities walk, they just had to stay on the sideline.

The flags are the most noticeable thing, obviously. 1965 the goal was to be a full participant in the American way of life, the American dream.
Now? We teach young 'uns to hate America, to trash America, to focus on the shortcomings and perceived failures as if that is what defines life in the USA today. Sad really. Very sad.

We even have movements on college campuses to remove the American flag as a "racist" symbol. Never would have dreamed of seeing such a thing in my life.

Nary a smile to be seen in the "America Sucks" photo on the bottom either. Seem pretty happy in the original, and that was after one tough slog.

I have to say though, in their defense, as a group that feels out on the wings and not appreciated it's only natural that there would be a loss of patriotism among the more radical. That's logical.

1965 blacks had an argument. Yet they were still patriotic.

You'd think it would have been more like that in the past though,yet flags everywhere in that first photo. IMO, it's just a sign of the times today in which it's all about the individual and not what's good for the country.
