Who was that team playing in the Rocket uniforms tonight? We should try to offer them scholarships and an invitation to show up again tomorrow night and then Saturday as well.

Amen. First time I've been excited about one of their games for a few weeks now. Hopefully we've learned some things about stopping Central's 3-point attack this third time out.

Talked about have confidence and swagger. Those show up best when the chips are down and you know you are going to come back and win. It's a little easier to take a lead and fight off challenges than it is to go down by 7 or so and then come charging back to win after you get the lead. I'd like to see them play with confidence if they fall behind to some hot shooting. Got to have that confidence you will win when things are not going well. They have enough players on that team that can each contribute - so we should never see a situation where 7 guys all go cold on the same night. No reason not to ever play tough D - especially if the shots aren't falling.

Williams certainly did just that: playing tough D while he couldn't buy a basket.

Very solid win for the Rockets! When EMU got it down to five in the second half, Toledo weathered the storm and built up a big lead again. We had a nice crowd in Cleveland tonight. Let's have an even bigger crowd tomorrow night! Beat CMU!

One down and two to go. The Rockets played really well tonight. Hopefully they can continue to play at that level. Show up tomorrow like they did tonight and I think CMU is beatable. Buffalo is the one that really scares me but first things first.
