that the CUSA tournament has not had a title sponsor. Seems like it has always had a name attached to it. It was Powerbar in the early days, then Phillips 66. Can't remember the others.

Just realized it is just the CUSA Championships this year. Is this UAB's fault or the conference fault or both? Or is it a bad thing?

I'm pretty sure watts is responsible.(just getting that taken care of for you MB)

Wasn't it a tire company at some point. I just remember seeing the commercial where a guy stood at the freethrow line bouncing a tire, at least a thousand times

The UAB Health System is the main sponsor for the tournament. Other sponsors are Phillips 66, Geico, Full Moon BBQ, UAB Administration (seriously), Donohoo Automotive, Protective Life, Mayer Electric, and several other businesses I can't remember.

Obviously UAB Administration, Protective Life, & Mayer Electric are the most, um, interesting of all the sponsors.

But as for as I can tell, there is no title sponsor.

I think the reason you're not seeing who the sponsor is, is that they're just referring it to CUSA Tourney not CUSA Tourney brought to you by XXX or the XXX CUSA Tourney. Maybe no one bought "naming" rights but did pay $$$$ sponsorship money
