I hope these officer are going to be ok. Details of the shooting not available yet, so I will hold back any comments for now..
Quote:The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports two police officers have been shot outside the Ferguson Police Department.
The shots were fired early Thursday as police and protesters gathered outside the station after the resignation of police Chief Thomas Jackson on Wednesday.
Ferguson has become a center for the Lawless. Holder did Nothing More than rile up the Troops which is probably what he wanted to begin with, probably with consultation from a Higher Up.

Yea, there's nothing like uprooting your family to work for another police department. smh.
Also, have you ever applied to a PD? It's extensive and time consuming. In addition, tax revenue is not exactly high to be hiring PO in any district.
I'd love to see neighboring PD pay the same salary, moving expense, etc of a new LEO from Fergusen.
I think the "Disbanding thing" was to let Ferguson folks fiend for Themselves as the Lawless way They are becoming. They would quickly discover how valuable a police Dept is to a community.

You know what else uproots your family? Getting shot. Which considering Ferguson's current reputation, seems a bit more likely than in other places. People move all the time, in all walks of life, for any manner of jobs. Why would moving to a new, safer, police department be such a bad thing?

Funny you should ask, actually. Yes. I was accepted to the Chicago Police Academy but declined a position. I also applied and made it through most of the process of becoming a Diplomatic Security Officer with the US State Department, however I was not a finalist. So while I appreciate the effort you took to tell me about the expense and time it takes to apply to be a law enforcement officer, I have personal experience doing so.
Well lefites, your fabulous leaders like Obama, Holder, Al, and Jesse have done a great job in driving the hatred towards police. Do they regret this shooting? In my opinion, not in the least. Probably disappointed that the officers weren't killed. I mean here was the cheer at Al's rally in NYC....
To Obama, Holder, Al and Jesse along with their followers, black lives matter unless murdered by other blacks, but police lives never matter to them. They have driven the hatred to officers being murdered like happened in NYC and these two fine officers being shot in Ferguson. When you have the President of the United States driving the shooting of police officers this country is in really bad shape.

If you were a LEO, you'd know that you have a possibility encountering gun fire at any point in your career. Obviously tensions are high, but I'd rather deal with tension than making patrol stops at 0200 while working for a new PD. That's the crappy shift you'll be transferring to because you have the fewest years of service at that department. You'll also be taking a pay cut in your new PD.
Fergusen LEO accepted this position and will finish this conflict through. This conflict has brought the PD closer and made them even more united.
Dirtbag Sharpton causes this and Scarborough feels sorry for him??? Sharpton is Obama's lead man on race baiting. Good job Obama.
Quote:JOE SCARBOROUGH: Let’s bring in right now Al Sharpton and Marc Morial. Al, let me begin with you. This has got to be terribly frustrating for you and a lot of people that protested there peacefully for this long, especially on a night that should have been a night of celebration.
AL SHARPTON: No doubt about it. You know, just hours before the attorney for the family of Michael Brown, Benjamin Crump, was on Politics Nation with me in Chicago. And we were saying how the protests helped to lead to a climate where the Justice Department would come in in the first place. There wouldn’t have been an investigation. And we were commending a lot of those that had continued those protests, nonviolently. And then this happens. Now, we don’t know whether — we will find out later. Let’s be real clear. We’re not saying the protesters have anything with the shooting or not. We don’t know. But absolutely, unequivocally, no one that I know involved in the protests or the Brown family would condone shooting at police, shooting police, and hopefully these two policemen–or any other violence!
