If you want UAB football back, this you have to do.
We have to show C-USA and the Administration that we are willing to buy season tickets for the 2016 season by putting up a $25 per ticket deposit.

And yes, this is a duplicate thread, but no one is paying the attention to the one blazerunner posted that it deserves. If you get all hot and bothered about duplicate treads, sue me - this is much too important to be ignored.

This ticket drive has been put together by Justin Craft - If you are even mildly invested in the FreeUAB movement, you know who Justin is and know he is above reproach. And yes Coach Clark is in for the first 100 tickets so let's not have any ill advised posts wondering if this is legit.

The goal is to sell 10,000 season tickets which would make UAB the top seller of season tickets in the conference. This will also be part of the Carr task force economics. If want UAB football back, commit to buying as many tickets as you can afford - if that's one, buy one, for that's 100, buy 100. Get your friends and family to buy more.

On this site you can also contributed to the Football Foundation. I understand this money will be used for football facilities, i.e. the indoor practice facility, etc. and will also become part of the task force economics.

I cannot express the importance of this as well as Kris Findley, our legislative team leader, did in in his email to all of the 185 members of the legislative team with copies to Jack Williams and Justin Craft. The title is:

Call to Action

Everyone,

"What can we do to help?" "How can we get our point across?" "Will they believe that we are serious?" I've been asked a lot of questions over the past several months about the work that we are doing. Well, praise the Lord, and pass the cornbread! Here it is in the link below!

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2015/...ite_t.html

I am not sure if you have seen the above article yet, but you need to read it and forward it on to your friends and family, please! We have all been working so hard to have our voices heard, and we have done a great job in doing that. Now, it is time that we show all of those naysayers out there that we are serious about what we are talking about. We also need to make sure that we cover the back of our good friend Justin Craft! He has invited all of us to participate in a reasonable way to show that we are serious about supporting the bringing back of Blazer Football in 2016! You can do this by reserving season tickets for 2016 at the link below.

http://www.bhamforuab.com/

This is a call to action, all hands on deck, get out the vote request! Please make sure that you participate in this very important initiative - it is critical to our cause to bring back Blazer Football!

Thank you!

Kris

Nobody is posting on blazinrunner's thread because they are posting on this thread.

Are you not getting enough attention?

Bump.

Yes there can be. Over saturation reduces the potency of the subject manner. Just like when Cajun keeps bumping his threads. Eventually people stop reading them.

Wow Cajun, 20?
I will have to concede defeat on this one. My wife has been very supportive thus far. If I tell her I bought $2000 worth of tickets that might come to an end.

I am in for 4 though.

I frankly don't give a rip about how many threads there are on this subject because no one is going to buy less tickets for that reason. However, if putting an extra tread on this subjects convinces someone to buy one extra ticket, then it is time and effort well spent. This movement is extremely important to a lot of people who have put tons of effort into this. We are not just exercising our fingers typing posts for the pleasure it is giving us, we are working our butts and we really don't give a rip what anyone thinks about how many threads we start on an all important topic.

By the way, how many season tickets are you buying? If you can't use them for every game I will personally see to it that each ticket you buy goes to a deserving person and I will buy one extra ticket to match every one you buy.

You really believe that someone will buy extra tickets because there is an extra thread?

My point about over saturation is a valid one.

So how many extra tickets do I need to buy?

I'm just gonna be realistic. Right now, no one knows how much tickets may cost. I'm buying 4 because I know I can afford 4 tickets and will continue to buy 4 for my family.

Is it a realistic goal to get to 10,000? What is the timeframe on this?

4 days, the way it sounds...........I guess the tight time is trying to avoid the CUSA wrecking-ball. 10,000 might be realistic IF some big money people buy up a lot of them.

Where is everyone getting the 4 day cutoff for buying tickets? Thirty days seems to have some validity if we want these ticket sales counted by the task force. However, I just looked through the entire website and see nothing about a date by which tickets must be secured. I have not seen or heard any credible information on this topic from any source except on this board. Where did this get started?

From the al-dot-com piece linked up above:

The opportunity to put down a season ticket deposit will run through Sunday when the Conference USA men's basketball tournament concludes in Birmingham.
