RE: Griz v Celtics
This is bigger than Gasol needing to step up. That's not the issue

Blames it on Green starting over TA.

Our slide in play began before that switch though.

If Conley is going to play injured maybe they need to keep him on the bench and use him for spot duty only????? If we are playing well just give him the game off.

I also agree that the team chemistry is better when TA starts instead of Green. Green may be a better offensive player than TA but when he is in the chemistry changes.

RE: Griz v Celtics
The problem is Jeff Green in the starting lineup. Joerger wants him to be aggressive, well we can't have him be aggressive and then get enough shots for both Marc and Zach.

Lee's numbers have slowly declined since Green was a starter. Mike's numbers have slowly declined since Green, although some is due to injuries. Zach and Marc's numbers have slowly declined as well. Marc and Zach aren't completely innocent in all this, but Wednesday was ridiculous to let Jeff Green take that many shots as the supposed 4th option. Heck even our 3pt shooting has declined since Green was put in the starting lineup

Chris Vernon talked about this exact thing on Thursday. It's almost like Rudy is back in Memphis with the way Joerger is playing Green.

Green makes us much better, but as a starter he can't be the 4th option and be aggressive at the same time. It's one or the other.

There are plenty of other media and people who have been saying this for weeks now. Even when the Green trade was made there were plenty of people saying Green would help this team more being the first guy off the bench and playing with that unit. With the bench Green can be option number 1

So Green starting causes the team to give little effort and sleep through games? I would rather Green come off the bench though. His slashing style isn't a good mix with Gasol and zbo' s paint clogging

Green is simply a scapegoat. They'll never tell us what the real problem is; the NBA is good at keeping their dirty locker room laundry in-house for the most part.

I'm not saying he is the complete problem because the effort thing is another issue. I'm just talking chemistry. You can just see the chemistry isn't there to start games. Also I think with TA starting the energy would be much better simply because he brings that element.

We can't have Green be aggressive with the first unit and be the 4th option. It just can't and won't work that way.

Honestly I would just like Joerger to try it for a couple of games just to see. If doesn't work then so be it go back to what it is now, but my money is on it would help to switch TA and Green

I don't think there is any locker room issues.
