Not true, the MAC would love to have Cincy back.

Don't piss Knightlight off by making that obvious observation. Jones has been hat tricked twice by Jeff Lebo. TWICE. It is hard to do once, but Jones has did it twice.

They cheat pretty good too, which is why they have no recruits.

Well, at least there's baseball and softball.

We will never compete in this league with Donnie Jones at the helm.

Lots of potential bubbles bursting today: Illinois, Texas A&M, Old Dominion. Good news for Tulsa and Temple.

Mhmm very good news for both. At this point I think Temple is in and Tulsa needs to get to the final.

I agree with you there are no excuses. Donnie should be gone but he likely has one year left to prove himself. He will have to show a significant improvement next year to stay I think. He'd be gone now if it were up to me but we may not have the money to buy him out and attract the type of coach we want.

Hard to show much progress when you are short schollys and are playing freshman 35 min a night. Anyway they got a little rest and put together a decent game.

I'm not the one hoping for a league that's clearly the best home we can find at the moment to implode. If Cincy was so great you wouldn't be here.

Snake Oil?

Aresco's been selling the sh!t out of the Fiesta Bowl and MBB/WBB Nattys; as well he should. That's far from snake oil. That's what we need. We're damned lucky to have him.

As for this conference imploding, you should take a lesson from Richard Gere.

RE: 3/12 AAC Tournament Round 1 Games
Coogs have now won 4 straight.

2 seed Tulsa has lost 2 straight and is on the bubble.

Last year, 3 seed SMU was on the bubble and lost 2 straight coming into the conference tournament. Houston had won 4 of its last 5 games and beat SMU in the quarterfinals.

Will history repeat? Can Houston make the American Conference semifinals two years in a row?

Probably not, but hey we'll find out tomorrow at 6 central on ESPNU.
