RE: CUSA Women's Tournament
Although I don't really care for fake basketball that's played at half speed with a smaller ball I'm happy any time a Western team wins.

Good job by the Western Lady Toppers. Congrats to Coach Heard.

We had a RPI of 27 going into the Championship game tonight. We have won 12 games in a row. I think we will be an 8 or 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

I HATE the 8/9 seed. Would rather be a 10 seed and possibly face a 2 seed in the 2nd round than face a 1 seed in the second round. Just sayin'

Of course, I'd like to be a 7 seed but that ain't happening....power conferences get those seeds.

It came down to who executed at the end of the game. Unfortunately, it wasn't my team that did. Proud if our girls, however, and the future is bright for Lady Eagle Basketball. Congrats to WKU. Unfortunately, if we get in the NIT we will have to play all road games probably because if our high RPI.

I agree. I think we are more of a 7 seed. I just think the Committee will slot us as an 8 or 9 seed. Our RPI is definitely good enough to receive a 7 seed.

Congrats, WKU.
Your next opponent will probably have encountered the theory of open layups, so you might want to defend that.
Win 'em all.

RE: CUSA Women's Tournament
Congrats to the Lady Toppers, hard to be clutch 3 days in a row but they did it! Not bad for first season in the conference...Only fitting NOble tipped last shot by southern Miss, she is one of the best defensive players I have watched in a long time in men or women..

Our RPI is good enough for a 6th seed, but no way we will get that benefit of the doubt from committee..I am sure we will be an 8th or 9th seed vs. a team similar to us like James Madison or FGCU....NCAA loves to knock out similar teams like us early, haha...I almost hope we get a 10th seed just so we don't have to face a Number 1 seed on their home floor if we were to advance to 2nd round....Kind of prefer a 7 or 10 in UT's bracket, I think we could give uT a good game this season especially after losing their best player to injury.....8th or 9th seed is a death sentence pretty much in womens basketball...

RE: CUSA Women's Tournament
At least one WKU hoops team will be playing another game or two. Good win over a solid USM team.
Gooch is a load at just 6 ft, Govan has some skills, and Kendall Noble is the best all round on the team. Micah Brown seems to struggle against quicker guards but does a respectable job.
The future looks good with Noble, Tashia Brown, Ivy Brown, and Bria Gaines coming back.
The ladies tourney is different because it is more top heavy than the mens. UConn is kind of like the UK men this season where they look to be a heavy favorite once again.

RE: CUSA Women's Tournament
That was a hell of a Women's Final between Southern Miss and Western Kentucky, congratulations to the Lady Hilltoppers. Hope that young lady for Southern Miss that got hurt is alright, thinking it was #10, looked as if she bumped heads with a WKU player, and sustained either a very badly cut lip or God forbid, a broken tooth. Keeping a good thought for her and the Golden Eagles team, hope they hear their names called in somebody's post season tournament this week. They are fun to watch play as well...Really, really enjoyed the tournament this past week, it was a fantastic experience for me as a sports fan.
