As in a good surprise?
Yes, that's my hope!

That is good to hear.........Huntsville needs to be on board!

I'm working on Lawrence County and Decatur area. I've been well received thus far. I very much enjoyed lobbying Montgomery and meeting so many of you all!

You bring up an extremely valid point. We have Jefferson County and the surrounding counties pretty well covered, but if you live in one of other counties in the state, or have relatives or friends living in those counties, we need help with those legislators. There is nothing that they respect more than hearing from folks in their districts who actually vote.

I believe that the BhamForUAB site will be accepting season ticket offers for football. Something like $25 will reserve a ticket.

The specifics still coming out via social media.

Ugh. The last time that site took donations they were being returned to people because they weren't claimed.

We need an Athletics Task Force subcommittee to take in the donations/pledges to restore some trust in it. Also, I think it should be the full projected cost of a season ticket. The lowest season ticket cost last season was $75. I'd make it $125 a piece. Asking for $25 pledges makes it look like we are trying to make the numbers look better than they are.

That said, I do appreciate the FAQ there to answer questions regarding this.

This is definitely better than nothing...I'm in for 4. Let's see how easy/secure the payment checkout is.

The fact that Bill Clark is in to purchase the first 100 should calm any fears about the process.

I've emailed Ed Henry from Hartselle and Micky Hammon from Decatur, and both have affirmed their support for Jack's bills. I went to HS with Ed, and name dropped my parents with Mr. Hammon. I hope this all goes well.
