For 3 months Hillary Clinton’s email access was unencrypted, vulnerable to spies

Quote:Venafi, a Salt Lake City computer security firm, has conducted an analysis of clintonemail.com and determined that “for the first three months of Secretary Clinton’s term, access to the server was not encrypted or authenticated with a digital certificate.” In other words: For three months, Clinton’s server lay vulnerable to snooping, hacking, and spoofing.

Then we have the 21st Century equivalent to Nixon's Erased Tapes. And Hillary worked for the House Judiciary Committee during Watergate.

She better surrender the Server.

exactly. you can be certain anything that is at all damaging in any way was deleted.

that's why the server has to be turned over.

And that is why this is much ado about nothing.

Really Fit?

How do we know she released all of them?
Because she says she did?
Are you going to put your trust in a Clinton to have released everything including things that might not reflect well on her, her office, etc.?

The server must be turned over for a third party review in order to have any confidence that we have everything relevant to her official business.
I can guaranfukendamnttttteeee the 55,000 pages is not all of them

And she claiming "about half" of all of the were personal.

Really? As Secretary of State? Half your daily e-mails are personal?!?If a quarter of my emails were personal crap like yoga routines and wedding plans I'd be out of business in a week. Either that or I'd have to fire myself.

State Dept: Hillary Clinton never used secure, govt-issued Blackberry/iPhone.

Hillary Clinton’s Blackberry and iPhone (yes, she had both) were not issued by the State Department and not considered secure.

Quote:During Thursday’s State Department press briefing, spokeswoman Jen Psaki fielded a question from a reporter about previous State Department employees not being able to have both a government email address as well as a personal address on the same BlackBerry. Psaki had responded that prior to early 2014, because of a lack of a security upgrade, that government issued BlackBerrys were not capable of running anything more than a government-issued email address.

In 2009, Bill Gertz reported the National Security Agency had created a hack-proof BlackBerry for President Obama. Obama’s top aides as well as first lady Michelle Obama had all received the souped-up device. The device would have been available for Clinton while she was Secretary of State.
Psaki also told reporters that Clinton was not issued an official State
Department BlackBerry and had used her own personal, not secure device.

Psaki told reporters it was not a requirement even if it was the Secretary of State who would have communications that would need a high level of security.

Hillary Clinton’s secret email account could easily turn into a national security nightmare.

What bothers me the most about this is that Hillary in particular, but also Bill, believe that rules that everyone else in government are supposed to follow don't somehow apply to them. This whole thing just reeks of slimy and unethical dealings.

Frankly, if Hillary wants her privacy - then go be a private citizen, I'll back her private citizen rights to the hilt. But you can't aspire and gain some of the highest political positions in the country - and be angling for the top job - and expect privacy.

Nobody that aspires and gains fame gets to have it both ways...........except the lefties will allow Hillary to do whatever she wants because they want her as the next Queen.

Hillary Clinton Defies Subpoena, ‘Wiped Her Server Clean’ AFTER Govt Asked Her To Turn Over Emails – Laws Are For The Commoners…

She should have claimed a hard drive failure, Bill could have backed her up.

Quote:Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton failed to provide any new documents to the congressional panel investigating the Benghazi terrorist attacks, instead notifying the committee that she has “wipe[d] her server clean,” the lead investigator announced.

“After seeking and receiving a two week extension from the Committee, Secretary Clinton failed to provide a single new document to the subpoena issued by the Committee and refused to provide her private server to the Inspector General for the State Department or any other independent arbiter for analysis,” Representative Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.), the chairman of the select committee investigating the attacks, announced Friday evening.

“We learned today, from her attorney, Secretary Clinton unilaterally decided to wipe her server clean and permanently delete all emails from her personal server,” he continued. “While it is not clear precisely when Secretary Clinton decided to permanently delete all emails from her server, it appears she made the decision after October 28, 2014, when the Department of State for the first time asked the Secretary to return her public record to the Department.”

Clinton left it ambiguous, during her press conference, when asked about the existence of the emails. “At the end, I chose not to keep my private personal emails,” she said, while also insisting that “the server will remain private.”

RE: Just watched Pantsuits press conference...
It was scrubbed in October 2014, after she received the request from the State Department to provide ALL of her official docs.

Scrubbing it is a crime as by doing so she tampered with official government documents. They were not hers to scrub.
It looks even more criminal because she did it after she received a request for the info it held.

I'd still subpoena it, her and the company that installed, maintained and scrubbed it. There is no way she did it herself.
I'd put it through forensic testing to see if anything is recoverable.
I'd put the company through the ringer under oath to find out what they did and when they did it.
I'd put her through the ringer to have her provide testimony under oath for the possibility of perjury in the future.

CBS Poll: Hillary Clinton’s Favorable Rating Takes A Nosedive To Just 26%, Down 32-Points From High…

Ouch...

Quote: Most Americans (65 percent) say their opinion of Clinton has not changed in the wake of the email controversy, but 29 percent say their opinion of her has grown worse. Forty-nine percent of Republicans say their opinion of her is worse, as do 28 percent of independents.

More generally, 26 percent of Americans now have a favorable view of Hillary Clinton, while 37 percent view her unfavorably; another third are undecided or don’t have an opinion of her. As Clinton weighs a presidential bid, her favorable views are 12 points lower than they were in the fall of 2013, just months after leaving her position as secretary of state. Her unfavorable views have ticked up slightly, but the percentage that is undecided about her has risen eight points.

Clinton’s highest favorable rating in CBS News polling occurred in March 2009, early in her tenure as Secretary of State, when 58 percent of Americans viewed her favorably.

GOP: ‘Even Nixon Didn’t Destroy the Tapes’

Hillary, setting a whole new standard in “transparency”…

Quote:Hillary Clinton is worse than Richard Nixon, says the Republican National Committee.

“Even Nixon didn’t destroy the tapes,” RNC chair Reince Priebus says in a statement in response to reports that Hillary Clinton wiped her email server clean.

“It’s imperative an independent third party review the server immediately. Unless Mrs. Clinton went to extreme lengths to wipe this server, there are ways to recover this data.

“Unfortunately it appears Clinton went above and beyond to eliminate email traffic as Secretary of State. There isn’t a separate set of rules the Clintons can choose to play by. It’s time they be held accountable.”

RE: Just watched Pantsuits press conference...
I'm sure she was figuring this would improve her favorability #'s as being that strong woman, taking on the "man" and fighting the good fight. It would prove her toughness against nosey Repubs especially.

Seems people aren't buying her utter bullschit any longer, see right through it. She's always gotten some kind of pass for whatever reason, as she's been the "victim" of her philandering, predator husband. But I think this one isn't going to fly. Bubba didn't run this purposeful deception on the American people, she did. From day one. Anyone with any sense knows there was a lot more on this thing than "personal e-mails" between her disgraced husband and her, especially since he's only sent two in his life.

She's as scheming and dirty as they come, and to this point having a D next to her name, as with most dims, was enough to give her a free pass amongst the true believers. No matter what she lied and covered up about. This may prove to be one scandal too far.

I've said for months she ain't running, and we'll know soon enough if that's true or not. But even if she does enter, we've all seen now, yet again, and history can be instructive as well, she can eff up a one car funeral. So there's plenty of time for her to blow it again and every time she opens her mouth the numbers sink further.

Private Emails Reveal Ex-Clinton Aide’s Secret Spy Network, Which Included Activity In Libya…

Hillary was running her own clandestine operation in Libya.

Quote: Starting weeks before Islamic militants attacked the U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya, longtime Clinton family confidante Sidney Blumenthal supplied intelligence to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gathered by a secret network that included a former CIA clandestine service officer, according to hacked emails from Blumenthal’s account.

The emails, which were posted on the internet in 2013, also show that Blumenthal and another close Clinton associate discussed contracting with a retired Army special operations commander to put operatives on the ground near the Libya-Tunisia border while Libya’s civil war raged in 2011.

Blumenthal’s emails to Clinton, which were directed to her private email account, include at least a dozen detailed reports on events on the deteriorating political and security climate in Libya as well as events in other nations. They came to light after a hacker broke into Blumenthal’s account and have taken on new significance in light of the disclosure that she conducted State Department and personal business exclusively over an email server that she controlled and kept secret from State Department officials and which only recently was discovered by congressional investigators.[…]

The dispatches from Blumenthal to Clinton’s private email address were posted online after Blumenthal’s account was hacked in 2013 by Romanian hacker Marcel-Lehel Lazar, who went by the name Guccifer. Lazar also broke into accounts belonging to George W. Bush’s sister, Colin Powell, and others. He’s now serving a seven-year sentence in his home country and was charged in a U.S. indictment last year.[…]

It’s unclear who tasked Blumenthal, known for his fierce loyalty to the Clintons, with preparing detailed intelligence briefs. It’s also not known who was paying him, or where the operation got its money. The memos were marked “confidential” and relied in many cases on “sensitive” sources in the Libyan opposition and Western intelligence and security services. Other reports focused on Egypt, Germany, and Turkey.
