ODU will be wearing UA uniforms at EMU this september, so hopefully they don't start working on the uniforms on sept 1st.

Under Armour, gave more to Baze's HS in Bertie than we were getting from Nike. This is a great deal for ODU, I really look forward to this partnership. This is the kind of deal we need to be making.

I'd love to see the financial numbers. Nike was only giving us $36k if I remember correctly.

No. Why would we get renderings after the uniforms have been worn/made? The renderings will come well before the season. But the question is, when will they be unveiled. My initial guess is the spring game but they may save an unveiling for the coaches caravan or another event this spring or summer (football camp,maybe?)

I have a feeling we are getting a lion on the helmet.

No. Why would we get renderings after the uniforms have been worn/made? The renderings will come well before the season. But the question is, when will they be unveiled. The little tiny bit I know about contracting is that you don't do squat until a contract becomes effective. I guess it works differently in sports where, maybe, a memorandum of understanding/agreement handles the sort of thing UA will engage in prior to September 1. It's all good, Go Monarchs!

I think its the right move and I am glad to see it.
Would love to know more about the numbers but even if they were even - I like the trajectory of UA and Old Dominion.

The start date may be determined by Nike's contract end date. The money size is many, many, times better.

Just read the news release. One thing I took away from it is that a sponsors desire to work with a team is directly proportionate to that teams national exposure. Being on TV, national ranking, FBS and hopefully soon a bowl team all make our brand more desirable and thus more financially lucrative for us.
