We have two years to hit a homerun. If Marshall doesn't want the job, there is a massive drop off to the next available name, and worst case scenario, a similar coach will be available at the end of next year.

He reminds me of the folks celebrating after OJ was found innocent. Right or wrong didn't matter, they just wanted to 'win' and be 'right', lol

You are welcome to support him and his inferior product with your own funds. After 25 years of supporting the program I and many like me will no longer waste our money and emotions. I wish the young men success but feel sorry for them having to endure Pastner for another year. Let's check back in September and see how many have not renewed their season tickets or TSF donations. That will tell us how many true supporters are still behind this ass-clown.

You are right that Pastner will be coaching at Memphis this year. You are dead ass wrong if you think that equals support. The vast majority of fans, boosters, and casual observers know how this thing is going to end, it a just a question of money and timing. Stammers has the right of it. Unless, a huge name is available AND we are likely to land him, we lose very little by staying the course and getting the money right. Every year there will be good coaches available. This is NOT and urgent matter. Football and realignment are URGENT. But make no mistake, the writing is on the wall in re: Pastner's ability to get the program where we want it to be.

Nascar guy has NEVER given any tangible insight as to why Pastner has been successful or what will give hope. I don't think he (nascar guy) knows much about basketball, expect to say "yay" when the ball goes in the hoop for Memphis and "boo/foul" when the ball doesn't go in.
