??

Either is better than no hushpuppies, but for me the thumb-shaped ones have two advantages: 1) they have a better browned surface area to fluffy interior ratio in my opinion; and 2) they are easier to dip in small containers of honey butter (or whatever). On the other hand, the spherical ones are bigger and probably easier to make with consistent results.

Judging hushpuppies on what you get at a restaurant is just as stupid as judging BBQ at what you get at a restaurant. Neither medium carries over to restaurants well. For the most part what you get at even a mediocre backyard cookout will be better than what you get at the best restaurant.

Well you'll have to make some at your tailgate...just tell me when. 04-cheers

I am so looking forward to some ACC road trips to sample some of this cuisine. Next year going to Blacksburg and whenever Pitt goes to Clemson I gotta head down there.

I know of no cuisine in BB, or Christiansburg that is synonymous with the area, the irony being that VT's food service on campus is the on the best in the nation - they offer prime rib and lobster among many other choices.

Your next Clemson trip will be some undetermined year after the 2024 football season.

Can we please get rid of divisions?

Your school's admin doesn't share your opinion. I guess the potential of ticket sales and turning Wallace-Wade into "Death Valley North" is tempered by the knowledge of the additional beatings that would result and they prefer the cozy confines of the handicapped division.

Well, I will certainly share my opinion with my school's administration. I don't think we're worried about any "beatings." Best of luck.
