The idiot announcer going over half time stats just said that UConn only shot 2 FT in game they lost to Memphis.

Is every basketball related thread related to refs?

Geez.

It's like you know nothing of basketball except if Memphis misses a shot, it's a foul and if the other team makes a shot it was either a walk or a charge.

Broken record.

So an announcer being completely wrong and uninformed is the refs fault too now? His rant had nothing to do with referees

Just look at his posts...it's almost always, "refs" this and "refs" that. Even this post was still in reference to the number of free throws...which is the fallback complaint of refs.

But whatever.

Are you listening to those little voices in your head again? What does a idiot of an announcer who doesn't do their research have to do with officials?

Then has to play SMU in the next round. Maybe we didn't really win anything by getting 5th seed. I can see UConn making the finals with the 6th seed draw. Houston then Cincinnati/Temple, then Tulsa on home floor.

We either have Cincinnati for a second time in a week and then SMU or Temple then SMU to make the finals.

This means if we win, Cincy ends up in 4th? I am guessing Cincy gets the tiebreaker with Temple if they end up tied.

They split...too tired to look up second level seed tie breaker.

Not sure...THIS year, that I would want to necessarily avoid Cindy...after additional thought. Want to win Sunday. But a loss and Temple...cool.

If we win, Temple is the 3...Cincy is the 4. We would play Cincy again on Thursday

Doesn't SMU have to beat Tulsa Sunday to get the #1 seed?

They are tied so winner gets one, loser two. Yes.

Was unaware of the schedule. Interesting.

This is nothing short of a bizarre statement, considering that 22-2 free throws doesn't seem to bother you at all, and you made 50 posts about Iverson having tendinitis when he had the concussion.

Which makes the SMU Tulsa game the second most important game to us. We need Tulsa to beat SMU and put them in opposite bracket from us. Do not want to play them until finals and then after they had a hard fought game against UConn the day before. Those two beating and banging to make the finals very easily could result in a bench clearer and a few suspended players.

It's a huge game for SMU for seeding and for Tulsa it will get them into the tournament.
