You think? I don't think the sanctions are that strong. Who cares about vacated wins? They do have a scholarship reduction, but that is just going to affect the end of their bench. They will still recruit at a high level. He's gonna miss half of ACC play next year, but that just doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

I thought the NCAA went easy on them by not banning them from future postseasons (or touching their National Title). That would have had current and future players look to go elsewhere. It also allowed them to skirt the punishment by skipping the postseason in a year they wouldn't have made the NCAA anyway.

They should have been banned from three to five ncaa tourneys. That would have been a HAMMER. But the ncaa decided that Cuse self imposed one year ban was good enough.

What a crock.

What's bad is the announcers on ESPN will still be sarking his coock like nothing ever happened when he returns from the suspension.

This will eventually just go away as if nothing ever happened. Here is an article about how UMass is actually set to honor the 20th anniversary of the 1996 final 4 team and put a Calipari jersey in the rafters. Did they not get the memo that their final 4 does not exist and that Cal left their program in shambles. They must not realize that Cal brought shame upon their program like he did at Memphis. The article even praises Cal for taking 3 teams to the final four, no mention of the fact that two of the final 4's didn't exist. No one cares.
