Memphis played tough and with heart. Respect for that.

They also ran their mouth again and almost killed purvis. So the hate grows.

This rivalry is blossoming. I hate you all.

And before you start to quote Elmore and suggest Brimah's block on Crawford (which was all ball) was in the same stratosphere, the contact which occurred only when Crawford was on the floor was caused by Crawford hooking brimahs waste like a defensive back on a wide receiver. There's vines out there on Twitter, go watch it and keep your eye on brimahs number. Crawford yanks him to the floor as he lands one legged.

so there it is. Respect, 'hate, f u Len Elmore. Gnight.

Godfrey Foul on Purvis (a different angle)

What does an inflatable velcro wall have to do with anything?

I believe the poster is referencing Purvis flying through the air with arms and legs flailing before hitting the padding. All they needed was a Velcro wall and he could have stuck upside down instead of landing on his neck.

Brimah tackled Crawford

Sorry but no that's not what happened.

http://www.thescore.com/news/714332

Brimah is positioned directly at the rim and jumps straight up roofing Crawford with two hands. Crawford, likely from the force of the block starts to fall backwards and grabs brimah around the waste as brimah is landing on one foot. The force of Crawford pulling on brimahs waste pulls him down on Crawford. Watch the vine, and key on brimahs 35 to see Crawford arm.

I had no idea that they have legalized marijuana in Connecticut.

Thx, '89. Yes, I just thought that the velcro'd position was similar to how Purvis looked on the stantion before falling to the ground. Nothing more.

I'm going to help you out here...calling us "honky tonks" will illicit a few smirks from Memphis fans at the ignorance of what is Memphis. East Tn, yes you may get a desired offense. Here, it just looks silly. Now, to get us riled up...call us "tigah high" or our players "thugs". That could fuel a rivalry. "Honky Tonks" screams Yankee without a clue and makes yours a program as hard to hate as a kid with Down's syndrome.
I want a rivalry. Please, do better with the smack

Lol that is a foul. Your delusion is almost as funny as UConn fans complaining about the refs calling fouls on UConn at the end. You guys are something

Ridiculous

Godfrey got all ball. The body contact was not more than the cross body block against Crawford.

You're own video disproves your claims. He was NOT just standing at the rim he was standing at the top of the restricted circle when he left the ground and landed almost on the baseline. You made a mistake in thinking that people will take your word on things and not actually click the link. NEVER EVER try to bluff with a link.

Honky Tonks are a thing not a person. It is what they called country bars in the 50s and 60s. Before they got citified. Come to think of it Honky is a racist term. When used by non southern whites.

After watching that link, it just proves to me how delusional and stupid you really are. 22-2 in fouls called in UConn's favor and you still lost the phucking game. Live with it.

Oka......Nashville has Honky Tonks, Memphis has Juke Joints.

It always feels good to beat a team that despises being in the same conference as us because we are perceived as unworthy.

Like I said Jukies, were never going to see eye to eye on the foul calls so we'll have to let that one go. I think most UConn fans don't have a problem with Memphis basketball, if you had been an addition to the old big east as was we would have welcomed with open arms, it's playing in the empty 5,000 capacity gyms with schools that are all in on football while they destroy their basketball rpis playing eastern Houston baptist in the non conf that makes us sick.

We worry for our continued ability to recruit and we miss playing in our church of msg. We're mostly homesick for a bulldozed childhood home.

And I did want to call your players thuggish, but for me that means hard fouls, trash talk and intimidation, many read that and think racist, so I left the word alone. I've been to Memphis a half a dozen times for work, but no I'm not schooled on the difference in the musical histories of east west Tennessee.

Time to go away again. Until next time.03-banghead
