Being serious here. We are playing for NIT seeding and home games. We need to beat UC this weekend and win at least two games in the tourney. I think we can manage at least a 4 seed in the NIT.

No one in our position plays for seeding or home court in the NIT. The NIT is the consolation. We need to be playing to get into the NCAA's, which means winning out. If we come close to that, the NIT's will work out how you said.

I think this team is capable of winning the tourney, we just need a few breaks to go our way for once, we need some decent officiating and we need the team that showed up in stretches last night to show up for a full 40 minutes. We are just one or two steps away from being a really good team.

I agree that we should keep our eyes on the prize and that is the NCAA tourney but I just can't see this team making the run necessary for the automatic bid. We would have to beat SMU and I just don't see that happening.
