I'll be sure and take a website that was set up to post a story by a guy who nobody has heard of and who probably doesn't really exist that contains nothing but anonymously sourced accusations seriously

RE: Interesting article about Coach Cal....
wow. very interesting indeed. none of it surprised me in the least. my only question is, why didn't cal have some of his refs working the 2008 championship game?

RE: Interesting article about Coach Cal....
Long article.

I do remember their game with Wichita State last year. At the time it looked like a referee gift...key played well enough, but during a late stretch every single beak and call went key way, screwing WSU and putting my in position to pull off the upset.

Sorry guys, but looks like it's a fake website article probably written by a Louisville fan.

No question it is a bash site..but that does not change the fact the WSU game was a horribly reffed game.

He's wrong about this:

Wes gets involved after the 2005 season and it’s 30 wins, 30 wins, Derrick Rose, more wins.

Because WWW was involved from the very start of Cal being here.

That happened in every game they played until they played UConn. Every team they played jumped out to an early lead, then their best players would each get two quick fouls. Refs let them hang around and keep it close until the Harrisons bombed threes in the final seconds.

Was pretty bizarre to watch... and night and day from the treatment his teams received at Memphis.

I don't know if ANY of this article is true or not, but it sure will give me something to watch for during the NCAA Tourney to see if some of these same things happen again. Last year was a complete joke when Kentucky played.

Will copy the names of the refs mentioned and watch this like a hawk. A lot of this rings true but if not willing to step forward and blow it up..has no credence.

It talks about Memphis during the Coach Cal/WWW years, so yes it is Tigers related. "IF" this were true, you never know what the NCAA might start looking at. If Kentucky is cheating, we might be the school that gets punished....lol.

Accusing referees of accepting payments in return for biased officiating is a HUGE deal.

I don't care how influential WWW is, there's no way ESPN and/or Yahoo would turn that story down if it had even a shred of truth.

In what way? This year doesn't show it unless he has something to do with the lousy refs..

he's officially an agent now working for a company, right? Whereas previously he held some grey area between handler, agent, and "uncle" to players.
