Memphis swept Louisville last year and UConn this year. 4-0 against the champs.

We were 17-12 9-7 (Now 18-12 10-7)

It's been a disappointing season for both, but we're down too. Next season I fully expect the AAC to return to normal.

SMU, Tulsa and Temple can enjoy this season.

We lost half our team.
UConn lost it's best players.
Cincy lost it's coach and best players.

This will not be the norm in the AAC.

It's nice because as long as we are in this conference as currently constructed then they are our main rival, ESPN seems think so and I think so too. So a down year for them or us doesn't matter. It's great to beat them

We need to get a streak going against them. Be the team that's got their number, the jinx team. Hopefully this 2-0 is a start.

Great for the program. Hopefully, BOTH UConn and us retain some of the lost luster and this becomes a serious rivalry. After UL leaving for the ACC, we need all the big time rivalries we can get. When Cronin gets back to UC, hopefully he can get them back into their glory days. Throw in SMU and we have the makings of an excellent conference. Down year in the AAC this year, but hopefully things get better next year.

The only fly in the ointment is that I still don't think Kevin Ollie is the answer at UConn. I really don't.

UCONN fans hates us more than anybody in the conference other than maybe Cincy. So I think we are going to be main rivals. Ollie should have taken the Lakers job if the owners were serious about it last year

Beat Louisville twice. Beat OK State. Beat Gonzaga. Beat SMU. Beat GW. Was disappointing to lose to UVA for sure...but would not go so far as to say there was not much to show for it.

I think UConn fans are still in shock that they went from the Big East to CUSA 3.0 in the blink of an eye. Can you blame them?
