I think the 3 of us should guarantee a blow out of Uconn to sit back and watch the rending of the space time continuum.

RE: Scenarios for AAC Tourney
KenPom releases log5 probabilities for who will win each conference tournament. He gives UC a 48% chance of winning their first game, a 68% chance of winning their second game and a 50% chance of winning the championship game, should they get there. Which comes to a 16.5% chance of winning it all, good for third in the conference. Here are everyone's chances:

Quote:1 SMU 36.8%
6 UConn 20.2%
3 Cincinnati 16.5%
4 Temple 11.8%
2 Tulsa 10.4%
5 Memphis 3.7%
8 E. Carolina 0.1%
7 Tulane 0.1%
10 Houston 0.2%
9 UCF 0.02%
11 USF 0.004%

I think UConn is getting way too much credit for "home field advantage." This team is just about the same when compared to Memphis:

Memphis: 18-13 (10-8) 81 RPI
UConn: 17-13 (10-8) 79 RPI

Just like the past five games, Cats just need to take care of business. Meanwhile, count me in as the biggest USF fan tomorrow at 8:00 PM.

Do you remember what happened when we played at Memphis? It wasn't pretty.

It might not be exactly like a home UConn game there Friday night, but it will be really close. I remember going to US Bank for the conference tournament championship game against Marquette during Logan's senior year. It was a great atmosphere for UC. I wouldn't expect any less for UConn in Hartford.

I'm making the assumption that the UC team that lost at UConn and at Memphis in mid-January is not the same team as the one that has been playing in late February-early March. Again, UC needs to approach this game (assuming UConn gets past USF) as taking care of business. We are the only team in the conference to beat SMU on their floor. We can beat UConn.

Agreed. We can definitely beat UConn. I actually have a pretty good feeling about the game, whatever that means.

One thing that would really help is if we took care of the ball. We turned it over a lot against them in both matchups. But you are right, UConn is definitely beatable at their place.

Some horrifically uninteresting games today in the American. If I were in Hartford I would rather sit at the hotel bar as opposed to watching UCF/ECU and Houston/Tulane. If I was still upright by 8 I might stumble in to watch UConn.

UCF v. ECU is going to be a hit with the bedridden who have dead batteries in their clicker.

Will there be more than 300 people there? I doubt it.

Apparently still good seats to be had. Rath, if we were there we could move down to a prime spot to be on the Jumbotron.
