Absolute bull****. Guess UConn has to win at all costs. Too bad, Huskies are way good enough to win without this kindergarten nonsense.

RE: 3/5 AAC Games
I'm not watching close enough to comment on fairness (we're flipping around) but I agree with whoever said refs are gonna get someone killed. It's one thing to let players decide the game but there's a line.

If you don't have a stake in outcomes of a lot of our games, just brutal to watch.

Call it both ways refs. Don't let UConn beat and hack the crap out of us and not call it.

Well a 16-2 FT differential is usually legit.

Its Boatwright. Dude gets 32 fouls a game.

RE: 3/5 AAC Games
I want UConn to win this game for conf tourney draw purposes, but this is another glaring example of horrific AAC officiating. The drop off from the old big east to this nonsense is almost incomprehensible.

Memphis fans have a right to be upset.

Aren't they shared with CUSA and the MAC?

I read on the Memphis board that back in the old Metro days, the Memphis coach Dana Kirk got so disgusted with the refs against Florida State he just took the team off the court and walked them down the tunnel to the locker room in the middle of the game, lol.

We share with Big XII around here too.

Did they really just let Uconn get the fast break AND another shot attempt while it's 5 on 4?

RE: 3/5 AAC Games
Refs typically work regions of the country. That is why many of them do a lot of games in 1 or 2 conferences. Also why some schools see the same refs several times a year. However, they technically could work any game in D-1 basketball. For some big matchups they will assign really veteran guys no matter whether the game is in their region or not.

For example, the 3 refs that have worked the most AAC games have also reffed a lot of games in CUSA for the top guy, ACC for the 2nd, and Big 12 for the 3rd.
