You should embrace it. That technology will open up much better paying jobs for the ones that manufacture and service it.
this is where I disagree...manufacturing is obsolete in 'murica relative to technology.....there is no way to compete in labor in this country when others are at a ridiculously lower level of pay....
which lends to the realism that this country has become a service based economy that will crumble in the largest of fail at some point.....civil war II is not that 'far away'......
Quoted for reiterative purposes. I hope everyone understands what you are saying. We will be a third world country unless something majorly changes. At that point, a lot of people will be asking "who is John Gault?"
no we won't and that book is objectively terrible.

in my teens, I laughed at that concept from the 'necks....I still laugh - just not like I used to....it's happening before our eyes - and this country isn't trained to handle that.....

There is actually a clinical name for it I heard once. It made sense. It amounts to: you don't think it (a catastrophic event of some sort) can happen because you have never seen it happen before. It is akin to narcissism, in that, it can't possibly be possible, because I don't think it possible, therefore, ... and since I am the center of the universe, and everything revolves around me, bring me the head of a pig, and a goblet of something cool and refreshing.
