Game Week: Toledo
Should be an interesting game vs. a natural rival. Hope a lot of UT fans come.

Senior day for MT III and KWard. Opportunity for fans to thank them for their spirited and productive play over the last couple years.

There will be more honors for Jim Streeter. Hope a lot of current and former members of the EMU family attend and pay tribute.

And tonight is senior day for the two seniors of the EMU's women's team...

The toledo fans can stay home for icare. some of the rudest in the MAC next to CMUs. My guess they will be between 500 and 1,000 far out numbering us.07-coffee3

At this time the site i us has us as a slight favorite. Our offense is as bad as their defense and our defense is as good as their offense. It could come down to a dunk or 2, lmao.03-lmfao

They had like 200, if that, when they came here last year. You are wayyyy overestimating it.

They have higher hopes this year and like many on here giving them more credit for their record than they deserve. 07-coffee3

Are you kidding? They had a top 40 RPI and a better record last year. Not to mention it was a Saturday game and not a week night.

RE: Game Week: Toledo
So the intangibles of the Toledo- EMU game are:

Toledo is playing for a top 4 seeding that essentially keeps them alive for a run at the NCAA tournament.

EMU is playing for sentimentality of giving their seniors one last win. Nothing more as they have already secured a losing MAC season, an impossible route in the MAC tourney, and virtually no chance at a home opening round game.

I apologize that I sound too negative if not whiny. But this is beyond disappointing. And does not reflect well to repeat last years gains EMU had in the late recruiting period.

All right, I am done complaining and will just root for the best that can happen from here...Go EMU!!!

A great solution for people too "soft" to engage in meaningful debate. Definitely not a "winning" idea.

I'll put out a notice for all Rocket fans to be on good behavior. Nah, but seriously, I always enjoy trips up 23 to Ypsi for football and b-ball... 04-cheers

This is from one of the participants of one of the great online feuds of modern times... (slight overstatement).

Ignore user + lock threads are weapons against this nonsense..

What? You wanted to be number one? Sorry you have to work harder to beat cmu. Lol. The students are pretty good about it and we have always jibbed back and forth in a friendly way, but the so called adults can be down right insulting and no i don't start it.07-coffee3
