No home game! Everything worked out but Toledo got beat by EMU.

That home EMU game was the have to have game. NIU wins that, they would be sitting at a 7 seed.

So, the bottom floor is now 14.5 wins instead of 5-10. I wish, Monty could've coached Silas, Anderson and Kowal. All three were better than anyone on NIU currently. Heck even Mike D was better than Travon Baker at point. First time Monty's team has won four in a row. Scary thing is Patton started the MAC season once 5-0.

Nice finish to the regular season. From losing 7 or 9 to winning 4 straight. Some encouraging signs of offensive progress (ignore this last game).

Great job controlling the boards, good job drawing fouls....but NIU should've won this game going away, really didn't get the job done at the free throw line and turned it over too much. Assists way down too. The bigs were pretty effective on offense (Threloff and Maric went 9-16 combined) so that's encouraging.

Ball State shot 29 threes and only made 7 of them and almost won. Yuck. But it counts!

Pretty impressive considering they both started 1/4. They went a combined 7/8 after that. They also accounted for 14 rebounds and only 2 turnovers.

Aaron Armstead had a really poor game after a few great weeks in a row. Hopefully he gets his swag back for Akron. They played Kent really tough last night. I'm glad we get a few days off after having 4 guys log 30+ minutes.
