He is almost a pure running QB. Miami Jackson uses another QB is passing situations. I have to believe UT has recruited him primarily as a WR/Athl.

Let's keep him in the fold!

Go Rockets!

RE: 2016 Football Recruiting Thread
DT/DL will continue to be a huge priority for UT in the 2016 class. Hood provides a good starting base for 2016. UT landed two solid DL's in 2015 (Coeling & Davis) and possibly a third (Harris) depending on how UT decides to use him between OL or DL. But the bottom line is that UT loses Covington, Jones, Collins, James, Voss, and Gibbs after this season.

UT does have quality DL's in the fold still returning for 2016 in Stepec, Davis, Cave, Moore, Hester, Adeniyi; however, depth needs to be addressed. The loss of Pooler to Maryland was tough but not unexpected.

I expect that in 2015 we will see the emergence of Adeniyi and Cave as explosive DE's providing pressure from the "edge". I can see UT in 2015 utilizing more spread DE's to get edge pressure (think Mizzou) on the QB than ever before based on so much talent at hand on the DL

The current staff and personnel have completely revamped the run defense into one the very best in the nation. I am confident this trend will continue and i believe the staff will also fix the pass coverage.

Go Rockets!!!

I like your optimism. Moore coming back should be a big help. Gibbs graduated, so I'm not sure he will return.

Hello Detroit!

I do believe Gibbs is going to play this year even though he has graduated.

He is listed on roster and depth chart. I will attempt to confirm.

Go Rockets!

He also recently just received an offer from Cincinnati. A great win for the Rockets...if he can truly stay 'committed' until February.

I am telling you guys right now, our newly renovated end zone facility is paying off. Parents probably love that UT also has the highest GPA for all sports in the MAC as well.

Funny, no mention of Dallas Cowboy Barry Church from Penn Hills, a 4 yr starter at Toledo. Barry, leading tackler on the Cowboys last season and led all NFL DB's in solo tackles the year before.

Historically, Pitt has probably done the least with their talent than any other program. Now in the ACC, they are doomed to mediocrity.
