1. They have had fewer sloppy turnovers and generally have turned it over less frequently. This was the number 1 detriment holding back the offense and an area where they really should have improved a while ago.

2. They are getting production from the SF and SG positions. In all of UC's big wins this year either Shaq or Sanders has stepped up and been a big factor. Lately it has been Shaq. In most the big wins either Cobb or Johnson have been very productive. It's been great seeing Johnson get into a rhythm.

If UC protects the basketball and gets production from the SF/SG positions they are a really good basketball team.

Bearcatdub told you why they are winning, they played three horrible teams. You,me,dub, rath and Bearcats#1 could have beaten those teams.

Excellent, you start for sure.

In the 6 games before this 3 game winning streak, they played 3 horrible teams (2 at home, one on the road) and lost 2 and barely won the third.

They are playing better basketball, having won all 3 games by double digits, 2 of which were on the road. Very weird when people don't actually evaluate the quality of play.

The quality of play is raised because they played really crappy teams, I said lets see how they do against good competition Wed. night and @UCONN in the first game of tourney. I do hope they win, just don't count on it.

Don't just assume they will be playing UConn in the conference tournament. Temple is going drop at game at ECU or at home against UConn, maybe both. Boatright didn't play in the second half of the first Temple game due to injury.

RE: UC winning again, and here's why
Somewhere there is an artesian aquifer from which flows a well of "Yeah But", and certain BB posters must regularly drink from the frothy liquid.

I have contemplated long, and have thunk up several reasons as to why, but my inner voice has told me thunk is not a word and not to speak of my reasons, except within the confines of Christ's Church of the Golden Rule back at the Ridgewood Ranch in Willits, where harmony and equality is achieved, and Seabiscuit rests in peace.

You are just wrong. They lost to freaking Tulane at home a few weeks ago and just went on the road and beat them down. The quality of play has simply gone up. It's not even up for debate.

Who made you judge and jury, isn't that what this board is about, lighten up Francis.

I'm a pretty tough PF at 6'1.75". Zero hops but I cheat and undercut, and grab like the OG at the Williams Y. I got 5 to give.

I'm a 6 ft pass first wing. My bread and butter is a 12-15 ft jumper, but if you crowd me I will put it on the floor and go to the rim with either hand.

My defense is suspect.

I"m in! Let's do it.
I'm a fit 6ft 200lb shooting guard...(lift weights and currently training for a triathlon) I'm really streaky. I can shoot us in or out of a game. I'm also somewhat of a blackhole, I admit it. I also hate going in the paint and getting fouled so I'm happing floating around behind the three point line and launching it when I can. Yeah...I'm that guy.

Sounds like the making of a great team. Who will play PG and Center?

I'm 6'2". I was more of a combo forward in high school, but I played center some in elementary and have a decent arsenal of low post moves. Not much of a rim protecter, so we need some solid perimeter defense.

Looks like the starting five is set sans the pg

We will need some bench players too....

Anybody have Michael Horton or Charles Williams phone numbers?
