Rap is fine by me. But I went to a lot of lengthy contemporary electronic music concerts in San Francisco...haha....quite a bit of noodling and experimental stuff.
For his thesis, one guy hang-glided out over the Pacific while hooked up to this sound device he invented. Air generated aleatory music...lol.

Lol...playa why you hating?
After years of Triple Six Mafia hatred, Hypontize Cash Money was the first song where I gave them a little respect. When I heard the song on the radio in Detroit, I realized they had made it.

music is like candy -- you throw the rappers away.
It's odd how much energy folks like y'all seem to invest in hating rap. You could insert any type of music in there, really. Everybody has their preferences. If you don't like something, then don't listen to it.

I'm not exactly sure what that even means. I don't listen to it. Therefore, I don't invest any energy into it at all. Of course everyone has their preferences. I stated mine. I invest no energy whatsoever in hating anything.

Here's a graphic i found online of the changes over the years.
Quote:Branding as “Christmas 98.9“, the stunt began at 12pm with Elvis’ “Blue Christmas”. The former Classic Hip-Hop format had ended a streak of under-performing formats since the station moved into the Memphis market in 2001 as it went through runs with Smooth Jazz, Urban, Hot AC, 90s Hits, and Conservative Talk until its flip to Classic Hip-Hop in February 2015. In the September Nielsen Audio ratings the station placed tenth in the market with a 3.1 share.
